Some New Elements Are Added To An Established Fashion House

A model walks the runway for the Oscar De La Renta & Monse collection during, New York Fashion Week: The Shows at Gallery 1, Skylight Clarkson Sq on February 13, 2017 in New York City.

Oscar de la Renta is known for producing extravagant pieces that draw all of the right attention, and in the most regal way possible. Using deep colors that are rich and strong on elegant gowns creates an aesthetic of beauty that many women adore.

This collection displayed a number of beautiful pieces that held true to the core standards of the brand, but also took on a different image. Sequins and patterns on blazers created a look that was less regal and more modern.

Regardless of the changes that were made to the fashion house it is clear that beautiful pieces are still being produced, and drawing the eyes of many. Oscar De la Renta pushed the envelope with these additions, and it is easy to support creative exploration.
