A source states that as of recent news, Brad and Angelina have voluntarily agreed to undergo temporary counseling for the sake of the family.

Recommended by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, the now separated couple will adhere to a temporary counseling and visitation plan that will be effective until October 20th.

This decision was based under a Structured Decision Making Plan.

Jolie, who separated from Pitt on September 15th and then filed for divorce on September 19th, has full custody of six children: Maddox (15), Pax (12), Zahara (11), Shiloh (10), and twins Vivienne and Knox (8), for the duration of the three week agreement.

According to a source, “this is a completely voluntary agreement, and it is not an order or mandate of any kind, nor is it any determination of custody.”

Pitt has also agreed to voluntary drug and alcohol test and has been, “fully cooperative.” It was also decided that a therapist will be present during the first initial visit.

Both Jolie and Pitt will attend individual counseling along with family counseling.
