“Harry Potter” fans will be excited to hear that the films will be returning to theaters for one week!
Just one month before the November 18th release of the franchises spinoff, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”; IMAX and Warner Bros. will show all eight “Harry Potter” films for one week beginning October 13th.
The October 13th launch will have everything from a global fan event celebrating the upcoming release of the film, “Fantastic Beasts” (at select U.S and international Imax theaters), to a never before seen sneak peek of the new movie. There will be appearances by the stars at two locations in London and Los Angeles, where they will also be holding live Q&A’s.
Variety reports that, Greg Foster, CEO of IMAX Entertainment and senior executive vice president of IMAX Corp had this to say, ‘“Harry Potter is one of the most beloved film franchises of all time and is incredibly important to the history of Imax. Therefor, being able to offer each installment — especially the initial two for the very first time in Imax — makes a truly magical event for fans.”
Fans will surely run to experience the magic once more. Here’s what they need to know before they head to theaters, there will be four separate admission packages available. There will be single tickets, day access (where admittance will be allowed to 3 or more shows in a single day); four show access (where movie goers will be allowed to 4 or more shows any time/any day); and festival access (where there will be UNLIMITED admittance throughout the event).
