Earlier this week, Tommy Hilfiger walked his daughter, Ally Hilfiger, down the aisle in a gown he personally designed! Ally married her boyfriend of six years Steve Hash in the Caribbean surrounded by family and friends.
Here are 5 things to know about the big day!
- The Proposal
Ally Hilfiger and Steve Hash dated for six years before he proposed to her last year during their trip to Paris. Hash designed the ring on his own, which made the engagement extra special! During this time, the couple had planned on having the ceremony in Connecticut.
Even though Connecticut was their first choice, the couple chose to have the wedding on Mustique. The island is part of the Grenadines located in the West Indies, which made for a romantic atmosphere for the big day.
3. The Dress
Ally walked the aisle in dress designed by her famous father. Tommy created a simple white gown with a V-neck. He also transformed the veil into a floral hooded cape. The veil’s embroidery became a beautiful royal blue as it reached the floor. The groom wore an all white linen suit while their daughter wore a white dress matching her mom’s embroidery.
Ally’s father wore a tan colored linen suit which he topped off with a white Panama hat. Tommy’s wife and Ally’s step-mother, Dee Ocleppo, attended the ceremony in a ruffled one shoulder top paired with a high-waisted skirt.
To top off the dazzling event, the newly-weds and their guests enjoyed listening and dancing to music presented directly by the famous DJ Skrillex.
