Kendall and Kylie Jenner Under Fire for Vintage Concert Tee Line

The two sisters are under fire for imposing their own image on T-Shirts of rappers and other famous artists.

Both Jenner sisters are very familiar with controversy.  Especially Kylie, who recently went through a controversy with her new camo line.  However, for Kendall and Kylie’s joint collection it seemed as though the two sisters had made sure to keep the collection away from any bad press.  That is until now.  Recently, the two sisters have been under fire for their line of vintage concert tees, for the way the both Jenners altered the iconic merchandise.

The Vintage Tee collection featured iconic shirts from Tupac, Biggie, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, etc.  The shirts had the Kendall+Kylie logo or photos of either Kendall and Kylie over the original photos from the t-shirts.  This action has offended an enormous amount of people, putting the two girls under a huge bad spotlight on twitter and instagram.  Especially, since representatives and families of these artists were not contacted by Kendall nor Kylie to approve the shirts.

Even though the collection is still selling out, Kendall Jenner has removed a recent instagram picture of her advertising the vintage tees.  Pictures of the t-shirts are no longer on the Kendall+Kylie instagram either.  Notorious B.I.G’s mother, Voletta Wallace, did have something to say about the shirts and even posted on instagram.

“The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me.  I have no idea why they feel they can exploit the deaths of 2pac and my Son Christopher to sell a t-shirt.  This is disrespectful , disgusting, and exploitation at its worst!”
