For these humid summer days, easy, breezy clothing is essential for running errands, lounging at home, or hitting the beach on a weekend getaway.
Ukrainian label Sleeper has the perfect solution—linen lounge suits that can be worn to bed, the beach, or on the streets.
Former fashion editors Kate Zubarieva and Asya Varetsa founded the brand in 2014.
“Other labels often consider their pajamas more convenient than we do – for example, to relax on the sofa. Our approach is different,” the designers told German Bazaar.
Zuburaieva and Varetsa provide a crisp, feminine update to the traditionally shapeless and boxy sleep uniforms like the top and shorts, the bathrobe and the nightgown.
The collarless necklines, dainty buttons, cropped ruffled sleeves comprise the tops and the shorts feature a slight A-line silhouette. Current styles contain fun prints like black and white gingham, blue and white French stripes, and black and white Dalmatian-esque polka dots.
The silk slip dresses, which were inspired by Kate Moss in the 90s, feature spaghetti straps and a below-the-knee hem, and come in pretty neutrals like baby blue, blush pink and olive green.
Robes are cropped velvet kimono-inspired styles with satin trim. They are available in jewel tones like gold, amethyst, ruby and sapphire.
With their effortless elegance and undeniable comfort, these garments are way too pretty to just be worn to sleep. Each piece will take you from day to night, or from the bedroom to the ballroom.
According to a statement on the site, “Sleeper hand-crafted pаjamas and robes are designed for dreamers, for those who see the whole world as their comfort zone.”
