Creative director Tomas Maier of Bottega Veneta is stepping down after 17 years in the role
Kering has announced.
The German designer was named creative director of Bottega Veneta in 2001. Once he took over, Bottega Veneta surpassesd $1 billon in sales back in 2012. At that time, it became the second-largest luxury label right after Gucci and Keiring’s fastest-growing.
